Transfiguration - Blessing of Fruit

This Sunday, August 6th, is the Feast of the Transfiguration ... one of the 12 major Feast Days of the Church. The Vespers of Saturday evening will be a Festal Vespers and, as is the custom, baskets of fruit will be blessed at the end of the Divine Liturgy on Sunday. Bring your fruit to Sunday's Liturgy ... a table will be set-up in the Church for this purpose.
