Soup Kitchen Fri., 8/11 5 PM

Holy Trinity's Soup Kitchen is held the 2nd Friday of the month at 5 pm - 6 pm. Each month, a healthy dinner is served to approximately 40-50 people in Stroudsburg and surrounding communities. Many of our guests are in need of meal, as well as our friendship and conversation. Everyone is welcome to participate in this outreach ministry. How can you help?

Our usual help are on vacation or away.  We need and WELCOME VOLUNTEERS to assist in the Soup Kitchen Ministry.  Won't you please help?
If you have never helped before here are some ways that you may offer your time and talent:

You can help set-up/prepare, cook, place the sign out on Chipperfield Drive on Sun., donate $ or gift card, clean-up afterwards (tables, floors, rest rooms, wash dishes/pots), make a meatloaf, a pan of baked ziti, or a dessert and chat with our guests.

MENU:

MEAT LOAF
BAKED ZITI
GREEN BEANS
FRUIT
DESSERTS
BEVERAGE
If you can help, please reply to this email or see Soup Kitchen coordinators after Divine Liturgy on Sun.  Help is needed by 3:30 pm on Fri.  Serving is at 5:00 pm.

Thank you for helping us help those in need!

Come, O blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world; for I was hungry and you gave me food .... Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brethren, you did it to me' (Matthew 25:34–40)
